Promote safety during activity sessions.
Identify and deal with hazards and reduce risks in the activity environment.

Plan and prepare an activity session.
Prepare and deliver a safe and effective activity session.
Review the effectiveness of the activity session and action plan for future sessions.

Format & Assessment
Format
Complete the Leading Health-related Activity course using both the Active IQ course manual and the Study Support Area support via AllActive’s Learnstream platform. You’ll have 12 months’ access.
Assessment
- Worksheets, an assignment, a session plan, a practical demonstration, and a session/self-evaluation.
- Videoed observation of session that is a minimum of 30 minutes to include preparing for the session, warm-up, main component, cool-down, concluding the session & self-evaluation. This video should be with between 5-12 participants. Once all Learning Outcomes are met in full, we can then claim your certificate.

What happens if I don’t pass the assessment?
To achieve this qualification, you need to complete the worksheets, plans and practical demonstration. The completed work/video is then sent to us for marking. We may then have some further questions to clarify what you have written or to supplement your answers to ensure the learning outcomes are met fully.
